Software Technology

We offer a wide range of technical skills, encompassing the leading internet, development and database technologies from Microsoft and the Open Source community. We use the .Net, SharePoint and SQL Server platforms from Microsoft for our Microsoft Cloud computing offerings, and Wordpress with PHP and MySQL predominantly for websites, although we do also offer SharePoint and .Net in some situations.

Internet Development

For the majority of web sites we now use the leading open source WordPress platform. This allows us to build sites for our clients cost effectively, while providing them with a solution which is easy to support and maintain, and flexible and extendable for the future.

We also use SharePoint and own AlphaPoint® Content Manager based on the Microsoft .Net framework for building large sites or as part ogf the Office 365 package.

Intranet Development

SharePoint is used for the development of document, project and knowledge management solutions, intranets and portals.

Business Intelligence Software

AlphaPoint uses the latest Microsoft business intelligence technology basd on the SQL Server product suite. We have experience of data warehouse tools, techniques and practises to combine with our business and industry knowledge to create solutions to analyse business performance.

Microsoft SharePoint and and PowerPivot are used to produce enquiries, ad hoc and high quality reports .

Database Development

Undepinning most of our solutions is our core skills in designing and implementing databases, including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. We have experience of the best database tools, techniques and practises which combined with our business and industry knowledge allows us to create solutions to help you manage data, suupport business processes and analyse and monitor business performance.
